SHARKS

My type of fish is a Great White shark it is a cartilagrious type. They live in all 0ff shore waters which have a water temperature between 54F-75F. Most live in Australia, South Africa, California, Mexico, Isla Guadalupe, Central Mediterranean Adriatic Seas. Sharks eat fishes and sea lions. They breathe by taking in water and passing it over their gills which transfer the oxygen to the sharks blood.Great white sharks reproduce placental viviparity they give birth to 2-14 fully formed pups that are up to 5 feet long. It occurs within the female. The eggs hat within the female and nourished by eating unfertilized eggs and smaller siblings in the womb. Most great white sharks attacks are not fatal. Great white account for about 1/2 to 1/3 0 fall 100 annual reported shark attacks of these 20-50 great white attacks, only 10-15 people die.

Bridge

My partner and I are building our bridge for strength we were going for looks at first but then our base started to come out kind of wrong and ugly so we started to do it for strength. I think our bridge so going to do really good for a little but I think its not going to hod a lot. Our bridge is a regular design bridge is has a bottom base and the side handles.

Ziomara Gutierrez was born and raised in San Diego. She went to Lindsay Community Day School and after 2 years she graduated. She then went to City College and studied to become a teacher. After 4 years, she got her degree and got hired in Loma Portal Elementary. She had one daughter name Zahaithy, she is 11 years old. Her siblings where born in San Diego. She has two sisters and two brothers. Her mother is from Tijuana and her dad is from Nuevo Leon. Her older sister has a son he is 13 years old and her second oldest sister has a 9 year old daughter.
Ziomara’s daughter is in middle school. She plans to be a doctor when she grows up just like her daddy. She tells her mom that she can’t wait to go to high school because she wants to graduate and go to college. She loves going to school and playing a lot with her friends. She brings them over to her mom’s house almost every day. She talks about how she admires her mom a lot. She loves to play soccer with her dad. Ziomara and Jose Luis got Zahaithy into a soccer team because she loves playing soccer. She also says she wants to become a professional soccer player but Ziomara tells her it’s going to be hard if she becomes a doctor and a soccer player. She also wants to have a little brother to take care of but her mother says she has to wait.
Ziomara’s sisters are older than her. Their sisters and brothers names are Zamira, Zayuri, Felix, Ruben. Her brother Felix is a police officer. He dreamed of becoming an officer since he was a little boy. Her other brother Ruben works as an architecture. Her sister Zamira owns a clothes store. Her sister Zayuri is a fashion designer. Her mother was living in Tijuana and got her papers and became an assistant to a Surgeon Doctor. Ziomara’s dad hasn’t seen her ever since she was 17 years old. He left them and never looked for them. She knows where he lives but she has never gotten the nerves to go see him. She’s too ashamed of him because of what he did to them.

Personal Goals

Am very proud of my African American History grade because I didn't now much about it and i got a good grade on it now that I now a lot about it

I could of improved in my Algebra 1A . What i could of done was come everyday and turn in my work.

My academic goal is to get better in Math by coming everyday and get help with it

My two overall goals for this year is to graduate from high school. And also became a nurse

One goal that I have for my daughter is when she turns 1 in January I would want her to stop having breast milk

Dia De Los Muertos

El Dia de los Muertos is celebrated because that the dead after their long pilgrimage from the other life arrive on earth tired and thirsty.And to remember the people who have passed away



It occurs a week before the 1st and 2nd of November.



The festivals are celebrated at the cemetery and at the streets of the table and run h



The altars are generally set on a table and then it is wrapped with a tablecloth, white sheet or with perforated tissue paper. Sugarcane is bound to the foot of the table and run high overhead into the shape of a triumphal arch.Oaxaca mole, freshly seasoned by the women, nicuatole, pumpkin with black sugar sugarcane, tejocotes, pan DE muerto and chocolate stone.



Comparsas are a type of a group of dancing people that represent manifestations from different religions and cultures of the country

On the day of the dead they go to the cemeteries and they set up food and drinks for them

The history of El Dia De los Muertos is that more than 500 years ago when the Spanish conquistadors landed in what is now Mexico they encountered the natives practicing a ritual that seemed to mock them. It was mostly the indigenous people that had been practicing at leat 3,000 years.

Another interesting thing is that the most vivid moving of The Day of The Dead celebrations take place on this island of Janitzio in lago de Patzcuaro

PROP 2

Prop 2 wants to

• allow animals for the majority of everyday to fully extend their bodies


• Specified animals include calves raised for veal, egg-laying hens, and pregnant pigs


• Farmers who do not follow this prop will be fined $1000 or imprisonment in jail up to 180 days

My Opinion- is that they need more space in the farms so they can stretch and not die because they are suffering in a small place where they cant even move. So i think they need more space!Because the farmers wouldn't like to be in a small place where they couldn't move!
