Life as an Egyptian-Games and Sports

Children played with balls made in different ways.

  • The outside covering was made by cloth, leather or papyrus and the inside was made by barely husks, straw, grass, rags, reeds or horsehair.

  • They would also use wooden balls to knock down skittles(wooden sticks etc.)

  • The girls would play with the 3 balls and juggle them

  • Also there was girls' games that involved throwing and catching the ball while clapping in between throws and catches
  • They also played board games this game involved the adults and children-there most popular game was chutes and ladders
Egyptians life is similar to ours:
For example they had a bowling game just like us and they would play the same way
